Promasidor Ghana joins the Environmental Protection Agency to celebrate this year’s World Environment Day


As part of the activities commemorating this year's World Environment Day, a delegation from Promasidor Ghana (PGH) embarked on a productive visit to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to actively participate in the official event. Delivering a message on behalf of Promasidor, Quality Assurance Manager, Miss Bernadette Klu, reiterated Promasidor's steadfast commitment to adhering to all the standards and regulations established by the EPA as the esteemed regulatory body. Miss Klu further emphasized that PGH is an organization dedicated to best ecological practices, emphasizing its continuous efforts to minimize the impact of its operations on the environment. She also shared valuable insights into PGH's community support initiatives aimed at reducing its carbon footprint, in alignment with the United Nations goal of achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.

Among the commitments made during the event was PGH's pledge to support the EPA's Plastic Pollution Sensitization Campaign in schools, showcasing their commitment to tackling the issue of plastic pollution. Additionally, PGH expressed their enthusiasm to organize exclusive factory tours for the winners of the World Environment Day national quiz competition, offering them a firsthand experience of sustainable practices in action.
